Verse of the Day
And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.– Ephesians 4:26-27 (NLT)
Prayer
Dearest Abba Father, today I release every care, concern, offense and disappointment to You. I choose to keep the peace that You have given me. I look forward to today knowing that You are with me, leading me in victory . I choose to trust You with my unanswered questions. I choose to release any doubt and confusion to You. Lord, Help me to focus on Your Word which is truth that sets me free. Thank You for Your goodness and for the blessings You have in store for me.
Help me, Lord, to live in the past, to allow what you have done in the past to shape my life in every dimension. Help me Lord, to live in the present as I experience your reality and power through your Holy Spirit. Help me, Lord, to live in the future, to be filled with confident hope for the coming of your kingdom. As I live in the past, present, and future, may every part of my life be formed by your Spirit, so that I might live confidently, joyously, and hopefully.
I’m trying to keep my head above water, Lord. Thank You for being an island in the stream, where I can climb out of the water, rest from the struggle, and re new myself for the swim ahead. Lord, we feel the pain of our world and the brokenness of our own lives. We feel sorrow along with hope. We remember how much we need a savior. We look forward to the unrestrained joy that is yet to come.. Help us, we pray, to be people of happiness and joy, even as we are people of longing and sorrow. Help us to delight in your salvation, even as we hope for the fullness of your kingdom yet to come. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
Bible Promise of the Day
I have cared for you from the moment you were born. God Promises He continues to uphold us
By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You. – (Psalm 71:6)
Prayer Quote of the day
Let us recognize this one thing: burden is the secret of prayer. If a person does not feel within him burden to pray for a particular matter he can hardly succeed in prayer. In a prayer meeting some brothers and sisters may mention a great many subjects for prayer. But if you are not touched inwardly, you cannot pray.
