Verse of the Day
Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. Ephesians 4:2-3
Prayer
Dearest Abba, Father, I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I receive what You say about me. I renounce the negative labels of the world and embrace Your truth knowing that my identity is found in You. Lord, thank You for Your truth which sets me free. I choose to let go of every negative word spoken over me. I choose to forgive those who have hurt me. I embrace Your Word which is my identity. Help me know deep in my heart that You love me. Help me see it, hear it and really sense it is true. Take my shame and guilt and anything else that is blinding me and set me free today. Help me to know, in every sense of the word, that You love me unconditionally.
Loving Father , You have called me to be Your ambassador of love. I confess I cannot do this in my own power. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to see with Your eyes and to love with Your heart. Because of Jesus my Lord and Savior. Forgive me for the times I have hardened my heart toward You. Help me today to see Your word, hear Your word and most of all apply Your word to my life. Thank you for being patient with me, Lord. I run off in so many wrong directions, but I want always to come back to You. Thank You for not giving up on me. Help each of us in our family to be able to distinguish clearly the difference between worldly ideas and spiritual ideas. Help us not to be tempted by Satan’s bright lights and glamour. Make our family instruments of blessing that You can use to bring honor and glory to Your name.
Abba Father, thank you for entrusting us with the power of words. May we use this power wisely, to build up others, to encourage, and to further your kingdom purposes. Give us eyes to see whom we might bless today with our words. May I take this power seriously as I consider the people for whom I am influential. Help me to use my words this very day to build up my colleagues, including those I work with even those to whom I work for. May my words not be trite or trivial. May the blessings I offer be thoughtful and true. And may all I say be for your glory. All praise be to you. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
I will repay those who are kind to the poor. God promises he will bless those who are kind to the poor
He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, And He will pay back what he has given. (Proverbs 19:17)
Prayer Quote of the day
Prayer is God’s answer to our poverty, not a power we exercise to obtain an answer.
