Verse of the Day
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And He gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, ‘Come back to God! II Corinthians 5:19-20 (NLT)
Prayer
Dearest Father God, thank You for Your Word which lights my path and guides my steps. I choose to put my trust and hope in You today. Thank You for bringing restoration into my life as I keep my heart and mind stayed on You. Thank You for this new day. Thank You for the opportunity to begin again. I choose to press forward and keep believing for the dreams and desires You’ve placed in my heart. I trust You today with everything that I am. Dear Jesus, thank You that I can say today, “There is no fear of condemnation or annihilation because of what You have done for me!” Thank You for setting me free. Glory be to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
Father in heaven, You know my sins. I confess them to You. Yet You know my struggles, my fears, the masks that I have put on. Help me confess my struggles to my Christian friends that I might put down this heavy burden of pretense and live in the freedom of forgiveness and fellowship. Help us as a family to share our faith with those our life touches daily so they can know You as their Savior. Help us to also “WORK” daily to do Your will, so that our actions will show others the evidence of our faith in You. Lord, nothing can compare with You. In my life I have experienced wonderful things, but none so wonderful as Your love. Lord, help us to use our daily work to point to you, to honor you, to make a difference for you in this world. Help us to work in a way that contributes wisely and well to your work in this world.
Abba Father, may I be prepared for you. May I be ready to receive every gift you have for me. May I be available when you want to work through me. Let nothing stand in the way of your transforming presence in my life. Father, Your sweet grace, totally undeserved, has been given freely to me. Help me today offer that same grace to others. In the marvelous name of our savior and Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
I hear your voice when you call to Me in the morning. God Promises he hears us when we call
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up. – (Psalm 5:3)
Prayer Quote of the day
The great people of the earth today are the people who pray. I do not mean those who talk about prayer, nor those who say they believe in prayer, nor yet those who can explain about prayer; but I mean these people who take time and pray. They have not time. It must be taken from something else. This something else is important, very important, and pressing, but still less important and less pressing than prayer. There are people that put prayer first, and group the other items in life’s schedule around and after prayer.
