Verse of the Day
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. – We never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. II Corinthians 4:8-9, 15-16 (NLT)
Prayer
Dearest Abba Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. I trust You even when things don’t turn out the way I had planned. I know that You are working behind the scenes and bringing something better into my life. Lord, thank You for giving me strength to shake off the past and move forward. Today I rise up in You. I choose to forgive. I choose to set my eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith. Help us, Lord, to see our lives today in light of your glorious future.
Father, where do I begin? There are so many needs, so many hurting and dying. But You have me here, where I am right now, so I ask You to use me today, right here, right now, to make a difference in someone’s life. Help me to see with Your eyes, love with Your heart and move with Your power. I forget how gracious and giving You have been, O Lord. Forgive my lack of gratitude and appreciation. Give me affection today for my family, my friends and for those I meet. Help me to radiate through my walk and my talk the love of Jesus to all I meet. Help me to live for You. Help me to use all that I am and all that I have to be Your co-worker. Help me join with You today in bringing Your light into darkness and Your love to this earth.
Father, I am grateful for the fact that you have called and chosen me for your good work. I acknowledge that I have only made it this far in my journey because of your grace. God, today I am aware of those whom you’ve called me to lead. I pray for their strength, that they might remain steadfast in your work, as you have caused me to stay committed to you. Help me to be a more transparent leader who allows them to walk beside me and benefit from my journey in you. Teach me how to equip the next generation to live resolute in your power and calling for their lives. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
Bible Promise of the Day
The good things that I have planned for you are too many to count. God Promises His thoughts toward us are many and good
Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered. – (Psalm 40:5)
Prayer Quote of the day
Some who attempt prayer never have the sense of anyone listening on the other end. They blame themselves for doing it wrong…. Prayer requires the faith to believe that God listens.
