Verse of the Day
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those who are sent to you! How often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you would have none of it! — Mathew 23:37 NET
Prayer
Dearest Loving Abba Father, I come before You today with an open and humble heart ready to receive all You have for me. Teach me to live a life that is pleasing to You so that I can be an example of Your love in the world around me. Help me today to do all that I can, with Your help, not to blame people for an issue that I have caused. Give me wisdom and the grace that only You can give to live a Christ honoring life in all that I do. I have the assurance from You that if I live a life honoring You I will have the strength to accept the blame for my own actions.
O Lord, I thank You for the assurance that I have of eternal life because I have asked You for forgiveness for my sins and have accepted You as my personal Savior. May my words and deeds today be a testimony to those I meet that they may see their need for You and that they do not have to be condemned to an eternity in hell.
Dear Lord, give me your strength today. Your Word says that when I am weak, you are strong. Strengthen me this day to live my life for you, to defeat my enemies, and see victory. You, and you alone are my hope and strength each day. Let the Holy Spirit rise up in me this day and guide my life for your glory! May the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord our Rock and our Redeemer. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
I will keep watch over you and guard you forever. God Promises He will watch over us
You shall keep them, O Lord, You shall preserve them from this generation forever.(Psalm 12:7)
Prayer Quote of the day
Love is kindled in a flame, and ardency is its life. Flame is the air which true Christian experience breathes. It feeds on fire; it can withstand anything rather than a feeble flame; but when the surrounding atmosphere is frigid or lukewarm, it dies, chilled and starved to its vitals. True prayer must be aflame.
