Verse of the Day
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!– John 15:7 (NLT)
Prayer
My Dearest Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I trust that You are opening doors for me that no man can shut. I choose to obey Your commands and walk in love as I wait on Your marvelous plan to unfold. Help me to believe in the angels that You send, Lord. I need watching over. I need You to be with me. I thank You for guiding me in all my ways. Father God, today I choose to believe You. I take the limits off by trusting that You have good plans for my future. I invite You to search my heart and remove anything that isn’t pleasing to You.
Abba, Father, thank you for telling us what to do and also what not to do. We need your invitation. And we also need your wise prohibition. Help us, we pray, to receive all that you have for us with willing hearts. Lord, open my heart today to the world around me. Help my family to be concerned enough about our neighbors that we do something to let them know that Jesus loves them. Teach me to pray daily for my neighbors and for a world that is searching for their Messiah.
Dear Lord, help me today to understand the rejection You felt when your own rejected You and the rejection You felt on that cross paying the debt for my sins. Help me to look beyond the low moments I may face today to the glory that shall be mine when I am with You in heaven and receive my crown of life. Bless my family today and make them a blessing to those they meet who need an encouraging word. And Lord, give me a new excitement and desire to serve You. I bless You today and always. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
