Verse of the Day

My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident. No wonder I can sing your praises!– Psalm 57:7 (NLT)

Prayer

Abba Heavenly Father, today I humbly come before You, lifting You up and magnifying Your holy name. Thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I bless You and honor You for Your goodness. Lord, in Your power, and strength, and courage, and wisdom, and patience, I take my refuge. You are the fortress that protects me, and in Your love, I have no fear of anything.

Thank You dear Lord for the many blessings and the possessions that You have entrusted me with. . Thank you for the privilege and calling us to work in your world. Thank you for times when I work hard, using well the capabilities and opportunities you have given me. Thank you for the joy of seeing the fruits of my labors. Help me to understand that each possession we have as a family has come to us because of Your love for us. Help me to reach out today with a loving heart and caring hands to those I meet. Help us, Lord, to understand the purpose of every hard work we do here in this world. By your Spirit, teach us to do our work with excellence. May we do this so that we might fulfill our created purpose and so that you might be glorified in all we do.

Be with me, Lord, as I stand alone in a world gone crazy. There are times when I can find no one who seems to care, no one willing to help. In those times, reach down to give me aid. Gracious Father, thank You for Your hand of mercy upon my life. Today, I choose to bloom where I’m planted. I choose to trust You and honor You knowing that You are working behind the scenes for my good. I love You and bless You. I will always praise You.  In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
