Verse of the Day
Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!- Psalm 34:8 (NLT)
Prayer
Dearest Loving Father, I humbly come to You, giving You all that I am. I honor You as King of kings and Lord of lords. I bless You today for You alone are worthy of my absolute best. I love You and thank You for sending Your Son Jesus, the perfect gift. Abba, Father, thank You for making me strong in You. I trust that You are working in my life, even in the midst of the storms. I know You will bring me out stronger, wiser and better off than ever before.
Lord, help me to live your story today. I thank You for including me in your grand work in this world. Thank you for the fact that I matter. Elohim, the Mighty Creator, what an honor and privilege to be your collaborators in the work of fulfilling your vision for this world. Lord forgive my fear to change for the better or be so pleased with myself and the things which surround me that I feel no need for a higher life. Make me dissatisfied if I am not trying to grow in truth and to live in noble deeds.
Thank you, dear Lord, for not abandoning us in our sinfulness, for not leaving us alone in this broken world. Thank you for determining by your grace to redeem us and the world. Thank you for the redemption we have in Christ. Thank you for the ways we experience your redeeming power in this life, even in our work. Thank you for the hope of the future, for a world remade, for the chance to live in the fullness of life as you intended it to be. May gratitude and hope sustain me in my work today, as I offer all that I am and all that I do to you. Through Jesus, we ask this prayer. Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
My thoughts toward you outnumber the sand on the seashore. God promises that He has thought of us often
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God How great is the sum of them. If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You. (Psalm 139:17-18)
Prayer Quote of the day
I firmly believe a great many prayers are not answered because we are not willing to forgive someone.
