Verse of the Day

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2

Prayer

Dearest Abba, Father, thank You for filling me with Your Holy Spirit and for giving me Your authority here on earth. Today I declare peace over every area of my life and thank You for working things out for my good. Lord thank You for Your patience and grace toward me. Search my heart. Show me the way to go. I choose to obey Your voice quickly and honor You in all that I do.

May I be a person who lives out the calling of the gospel—not just when I am with my brothers and sisters in Christ but at all times. May those with whom I work experience through me a bit of your reconciling grace. May they taste a morsel of your justice and love in my words and deeds. Lord, You called us to live as reconciled and reconciling people. Help us, dear Lord, to do this not only in the big causes of our lives, but also in the everyday business of living. Help me to be humble and gentle with my colleagues. Help me to bear with my neighbors in love. By your grace, help me to make every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit.

Lord, train us to become a spiritual warrior for you. Help us, we pray, to see the world and our lives as you see them. As we are prepared for battle, help us to pray, Lord. May we indeed learn to pray in the Spirit at all times. As we join your battle for reconciliation, help us to fight in your way. May we indeed put on the armor of truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the word of God. May we wear this armor at all times, including when we are in our workplaces. As we pray, we ask you to act, to work in and among us for justice and peace. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Bible Promise of the Day

Jesus has promised that He will come again.

“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:2-3, NKJV

Prayer Quote of the day
