Verse of the Day
You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.– Psalm 16:11
Prayer
Dearest Abba Father, thank You for Your goodness and favor in my life. I trust that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. I trust that Your plans are to prosper me and give me a future and a hope. I set my mind and heart on You this day and expect to see Your goodness.
Abba Father, Your ways are not our ways. Your greatness and glory exceed our comprehension. Sometimes it seems that we end up believing things about you that don’t quite make sense. Yet we believe, acknowledging our limitations. Make all my days productive ones, Lord. Show me what my ministry is. Open doors so that I might serve You in new ways. Look kindly on my efforts to glorify You, Lord.
May I act today as if what I do really matters, because it does. And, at the same time, may I rely fully and finally on your grace, your sovereignty, your love. O Lord, you do indeed provide limits in life. You tell us not to do certain things, not to eat certain fruit. But your generosity and grace are truly overwhelming. Thank you for all you have given to us. May we enjoy it with gratitude.
Lord, thank You for this day and age I’m living in. I believe that You created me for such a time as this. By faith, I receive Your unprecedented favor as I serve You with my whole heart. Thank you, Lord, that our actions do somehow really matter to you. And, thank you, that behind and beneath all things lies your sovereign grace. Lord God, teach me the way and show me the light of the eternal day; and may the vision fill my soul as I take courage and follow it. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
You can rest in My love, for I have power to save you. God Promises that we can rest in Him
The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”(Zephaniah 3:17)
