Verse of the Day
That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty.– Ecclesiastes 12:13 (NLT)
Prayer
Dearest Abba Father, thank You for setting me up for success in everything I do. I choose to trust and rely on You knowing that Your plans are for my good. I know my best days are ahead of me and look ahead to the blessings You have in store for me. I give You my past, present and future knowing that You will redeem my life. I release those who have hurt me, I choose forgiveness so I can be free to move forward in the new route You have for me.
It is my prayer today that You will help me to set boundaries that will protect me from the evils of this world that I live in. I ask the same for my family and my friends. Give each one of us the strength and courage to resist temptations to cross God’s boundary lines. Lord God, today. I earnestly pray for strength to break away from habits that damage my character. May I not lose courage and fall back in the old ways, but by faith be led where I should go. Protect us from the evils of Satan in this world and give us a new dedication to live for You and to honor You. O Lord help us to bring our vessel safe to shore, unto our desired haven.
Gracious Father, I thank You for Your grace and mercy to me. I trust that my days are ordered of You. I ask that You strengthen and empower me to fulfill Your call on my life. I love You and bless You today. I pray in the name of Jesus, the Son of God. Amen.
Bible Promise of the Day
If you honor Me with your first fruits, you will overflow with abundance. God Promises that He will return with blessings what we give.
Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the first fruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10)
Prayer Quote of the day
Natural ability and educational advantages do not figure as factors in this matter of prayer; but a capacity for faith, the power of a thorough consecration, the ability of self-littleness, an absolute losing of one’s self in God’s glory and an ever present and insatiable yearning and seeking after all the fullness of God.
