Verse of the Day
Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.– Romans 12:12 (NLT)
Prayer
Dearest Abba Father, thank You for working Your eternal glory in me. I cast my cares on You, knowing that my trials and troubles are only temporary. Thank You for Your eternal blessing on my life today. Thank you, gracious God, for creating us with great potential. Thank you for making us in your image. Thank you for entrusting your world to us. May I see my work as a way of honoring you and contributing to your work in the world. Eternal God, I thank You for Your loving care over me. May I see Your works and acknowledge Your very present help for all my needs, and perceive the joy of Your love through the greatness of the earth. Be glorified today in all I do.
Thank you for showing us that fruitful living is not so much a matter of our efforts as it is a result of abiding in You. Help us, Lord, to be faithful and fruitful branches. By Your Spirit, may we be deeply connected to You. May we bear fruit for You today, at work, in every relationship, in our plans and productions. May we do everything in Your name and for Your glory.
Lord, I wander off sometimes, but I always want to be with You. Keep a watchful eye upon me, a foolish sheep. Herd me back to the fold, where I am always safe and warm. Abba Father, thank You for the people You have placed in my life as wise counsel. Help me understand Your truth so that I can make godly choices. Keep me close to You always and lead me in the way everlasting. Provide the foundation of my faith, O God, and help me to construct a fortress that will withstand all assaults. Protect me with Your love. Through Jesus, we ask this prayer. Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
There is a special room in My house prepared just for you. God Promises a special a place for us
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also– (John 14:2-3)
Prayer Quote of the day
To remove warfare from a spiritual life is to render it unspiritual. Life in the spirit is a suffering way, filled with watching and laboring, burdened by weariness and trial, punctuated by heartbreak and conflict. It is a life utterly outpoured for the kingdom of God and lived in complete disregard for one’s personal happiness.
