Verse of the Day
“Just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.” Romans 6:4 (NLT)
Prayer
Our heavenly Father, thank You for Your favor in my life today. Thank You for causing me to be at the right place at the right time. Anoint my head with Your oil so that I can move forward in the path You have for me. Lord, I desire to always honor You. Help me to see the needs of the people around me. Help me to treat them the way You would treat them. Show me how to help others rise higher and sow good seeds into them.
Lord, I come to You, asking You to lead me and guide me in every decision I need to make today. Help me to evaluate all the consequences of my decisions. Give me wisdom so that I can see what Jesus would want me to do. I regret and confess my sins of disobedience to You and ask for Your forgiveness. Let me not tempt Your mercy, Lord, but do everything in my power to act as I thing You want me to act. Train me to be a Kingdom person, worthy to enter Your heaven when I am ready.
Lord, I thank You for Your salvation. Help me go deeper. Help me trust You and accept deep in my heart the true love You have for me. Lord, help me search my heart. Help me to know where I have wandered from You. Forgive me for any hypocrisy and help me to embrace Your love simply living for You in return. Please help me, Lord, with the discipline I need to quietly spend time listening to You and reading Your word. I want to do more than simply living. More than existing; coping from day to day. Lord, I want to thrive in Your presence. Help me today to grow in Your unfailing love. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen

Prayer Quote of the day
We can never know God as it is our privilege to know Him by brief repetitions that are requests for personal favors, and nothing more.
