Verse of the Day
With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. II Thessalonians 1:11-12
Prayer
Dearest Abba Yahweh, today I lift my heart to You to receive the tidal wave of goodness You have prepared for me. May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing to You, my King. Lord, today I press into You. I believe that You have my miracle in the palm of Your hand. I choose to take my eyes off of my circumstances and set my gaze on You, Jesus, because You are the Author and Finisher of my faith. Father, thank You for the blessings You have prepared for my future. I submit my ways and my words to You. Help me to speak what You speak and keep me close to You. I give You the glory in all things.
Help me, dear Lord, to set my priorities each day first to honor and serve You. Make me set as a priority the reading of the Bible and the communication I must have with You through prayer. Give me the leadership needed with my family so that together we will put You first in all of our lives both in our words and our deeds. Dear Father, when things come against me, help me to be on guard, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong. But most of all, help me do everything with love. Lord, thank You for sending Jesus into the world to relate to me on terms that I understand. I need to know that Your love for me is emotional and passionate. Teach me to love others as You love me.
Father, you know how many times I have been distracted. Bad things happen in my life and I become fearful that you have distanced yourself from me, even cut me off. I rush to judgment and my heart fills with fear. Forgive me, Lord, for doubting you. Help me, dear Lord, to trust your presence even when I can’t sense it. Help me to slow down, to stop hurrying, to wait upon you, to reflect on your mercy and faithfulness. Thank you, Father, for reaching out to me even when I doubt you. Thank you for your extraordinary mercy and amazing grace. Father, I desire to please You in everything I do. I declare that You are good and faithful. I trust You with my whole heart and believe that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You. I bless You and honor You today. In the marvelous name of our savior and Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
