Verse of the Day
Look! I am sending my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. Then the Lord you are seeking will suddenly come to his Temple. The messenger of the covenant, whom you look for so eagerly, is surely coming,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.– Malachi 3:1 (NLT)
Prayer
Loving Father in heaven, thank You for loving me today. Thank You for keeping me the apple of Your eye. I open my heart and mind to You and cast every care on You. I receive Your love for me. King of kings, we bow to You. We follow You. Help us to fight the good fight of faith. Make us merciful, O Christ, in our judgments of others. May we think no evil. May we forbear and forgive one another as you have done the same for us.
Thank you, dear Lord, for giving to me this day self-control in all of my words and deeds. Help me to rely on the leading of the Holy Spirit in my life today and may others see through me the Fruits of the Spirit controlling my life. Help me to honor God, my family, my neighbors and my friends today in all that I do and say.
Abba Father, when I think of how little I have given away my heart burns with shame, as I recall what You have given to me. May I from this day be more thoughtful of Your tender compassion by being less selfish with what I have. In Jesus’ name I pray Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
Because of Jesus, you are free from all condemnation. God Promises that We Are Free from Condemnation
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8:1)
Prayer Quote of the day
I realize that the nation is facing problems presently that it hasn’t faced in a long, long time. But you have a recourse that the unredeemed do not have. That recourse, as you well know, is the Lord. He still answers prayer!
