Verse of the Day
So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.- 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NLT)
Prayer
My Dearest Abba Father, today I humbly submit myself to You because You are good and faithful. I choose to work and live according to Your Word because I love You and desire to honor You. I receive Your mercy and grace today so I can live a life pleasing to You. Lord, today I surrender every area of my heart, mind and life to You. Have Your way in me. Do Your will in my life. Let everything I am bring glory to You in all things! I bless You today.
Abba Father, may I not miss my work through indifference and feel it is Your neglect of me. May I be reminded that the enrichment of life comes through persistency and being consistent, and may not be found on the idle paths of extravagant ways. Help me to take up my work with a willing spirit and give my best to it. It is hard enough when people find fault with me for what I do wrong, let alone when I am trying to do what is right. Make their insults bounce off me like water off the duck’s back. Strengthen me in Your will and way.
Heavenly Father, thank You for making me new. I choose today to leave behind the old life and ask that You empower me by Your spirit. Help me to understand Your plan and know the truth of Your Word that sets me free. Lord, help me to live this day with your perspective, not ignoring what is broken in this world, not neglecting those who suffer, but seeing the “very goodness” you built into the original creation. In all I do this day, may I add in some small measure to this goodness. In the marvelous name of our savior and Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
All of our needs will be supplied. God Promises to Supply All Our Needs
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
Prayer Quote of the day
When you are praying alone, and your spirit is dejected, and you are wearied and oppressed by your loneliness, remember then, as always, that God the Trinity looks upon you with eyes brighter than the sun; also all the angels, your own Guardian Angel, and all the Saints of God.
