Verse of the Day
The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous.- Proverbs 15:29 (NLT)
Prayer
Dearest Loving Father, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus into this earth so that I can be free. Thank You for opening the door to eternal life. I accept the sacrifice Jesus paid so that I can be free. Come into my heart. I confess that You are my Lord and Savior. Thank you for the privilege we have given as in this world. Help us now, we pray, to see what You want us to see, to hear Your voice through this portion of Your Word. Speak to us by Your Spirit. Teach us. Challenge us. Inspire us. Form us. Lord. Use me, Lord. With the gifts and talents You bestowed upon me, enable me to spread Your Good News to everyone I meet.
Let me find my rest in You, Lord. When the day gets to be too much for me, welcome me into Your presence, where I can find some sanity and reason. Abba Father, thank You for who You are and for who You’ve made me. I declare today that I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Help me to keep my identity in You and glorify You in all that I do.
Lord God, help me to realize the power of my life. I feel ashamed and alarmed when I think of the grievous wrongs I may have done for greed. May I have delight in the struggles I have made for the ways of righteousness. Make me careful to avoid the things that debase life. May I aspire for the highest and best. All praise be to you, God of justice and mercy. Amen.
Bible Promise of the Day
I give life and breath to all things. God promises that He gives life and breath to all things.
God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. (Acts 17:24-25)
Prayer Quote of the day
God waits for you to communicate with Him. You have instant, direct access to God. God loves mankind so much, and in a very special sense His children, that He has made Himself available to you at all times.
