Verse of the Day
“Praise the LORD! For he has heard my cry for mercy. The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.” Psalms 28:6-8 (NLT)
Prayer
Dearest Abba Father, thank You for Your goodness. Thank You for finding joy in seeing me succeed. Help me to see my life the way you see it. Help me to see and declare the blessing and victory You have for me. Lord, thank You for Your Word which is alive and powerful! I set my mind on Your promises and choose to declare what You say about me. Thank You for Your faithfulness as I move forward in the good plan You have for me.
LORD God, Maker of Heaven and Earth, I am grateful for the many ways you keep us. Your attention and commitment never waiver. You protect us for our good, even in what we suffer. You watch over all our ways at all times. Help me to have the same comprehensive care for what you’ve entrusted to me. In the world in which you’ve placed me, help me to love all that you love. Help me to care for those who are different from me. Help me to pray for those whom I see as my enemies. Help me to care for the physical world in which you have placed me. Help me to work in such a way as to care for this planet that you have entrusted to human beings. Help me to do small things with great love, this day and toward that end.
Thank You Lord, that I can know that You are with me in all circumstances, even in times of adversity. Keep my faith strong and help my life to be a testimony of what it means to know You as my Lord and Savior. Help me to teach my family to turn to You when they have difficulties and never to give up in despair when life is tough for them. Be patient with me, Lord, I run off in so many wrong directions, but I want always to come back to You. Thank You for not giving up on me. Through Jesus Christ, we say this prayer. Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
My perfect love will banish fear from your heart. God Promises His Love Will Cast Our Fear
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love– (1st John 4:18)
Prayer Quote of the day
We can do nothing, we say sometimes, we can only pray. That, we feel, is a terribly precarious second-best. So long as we can fuss and work and rush about, so long as we can lend a hand, we have some hope; but if we have to fall back upon God — ah, then things must be critical indeed!
