Verse of the Day
“Choose today whom you will serve – but as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15 (NLT)
Prayer
My Dearest loving Father, today I give praise and glory to You because You are worthy, You are able, and You are at work in me. I dare to ask for the impossible, to believe that You can accomplish infinitely more than I could ever ask or think. Lord You are my Redeemer. Lord, I thank You for the death and resurrection of Your son Jesus Christ. Thank You for Your promise to restore to me the years that have been lost or wasted. I receive Your promise by faith. I put my trust and hope in You and believe that my best days are out ahead of me.
Lord, I thank You dear God for sending Your Son to this world to pay the penalty of my sins through His shed blood. May my life be an example to those that do not know You and may my words and deeds exemplify Your love for them. I confess that I have been the one that has stumbled. I am to blame for rebelling against You. I have ignored my relationship with You. I have made other things in my life more of a God to me than You. Forgive me. Today, I choose to follow You. Today I put away those things that cause me to stray and commit myself to following You. Thank You for Your forgiveness, mercy and grace. Guide me, direct me, work with me, and by Your grace help resolve the sin issues in my life.
Lord, thank you for the cross. Thank you for taking our sin through the death of Christ. Thank you for acting in Christ to forgive us, renew us, and restore us. Thank you for the fact that if we are in Christ, there is a new creation. Thank you for the privilege of experiencing this new creation now, however incompletely. Lord, even as our daily works reflects the stain of sin, may it also begin to receive the grace of salvation. May the renewing, reconciling work of Christ be experienced in our job, our home and workplaces. And may those of us who know you through Christ live each day so that Christ is glorified in all we do and say. Jesus, I present my prayer in Your precious name before my God, Father in heaven. Amen
Bible Promise of the Day

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever. – (Psalm 23:6)
Prayer Quote of the day
One way to recollect the mind easily in the time of prayer, and preserve it more in tranquillity, is not to let it wander too far at other times. You should keep it strictly in the presence of God; and being accustomed to think of Him often, you will find it easy to keep your mind calm in the time of prayer, or at least to recall it from its wanderings.
