Prayer
Dearest Loving Father in Heaven, thank You for Your resurrection power at work in my life. Today, I give to You my broken dreams, disappointments, failures and setbacks, trusting that Your resurrection power is at work in me. I trust that You have a good plan for my future, and You are leading me into total victory. Thank You for completing what You started in my life. I trust that no matter how dark things may seem, You are my shining light of hope. I thank You for working behind the scenes to carry me through to the place of victory in every area of my life. Lord, I know that I have the ability to be caring and compassionate. Give me understanding and leading today so that I can make a difference in other people’s lives. Lord, I am honored to be connected with You and invite You to share Your heart with me. I surrender all that I am to You.
Abba Father, You know how I worry and carry many concerns with me. Forgive me for my lack of faith. I know You reward those that come to You in faith, so I come now in faith believing that You care for me. I choose to give all my worries to You. I know You are all powerful, wise and loving, so I trust You with all the outcomes of this step of faith.. Help me relate to You in a more personal way. I need Your help to do this. Help me draw near to You and listen. Help me desire You above all things. Teach me, guide me, reveal Yourself to me so that I may bear Your fruit in my life that I may bring glory to You. Help me to start living in eternity right now. I pray that “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”
Lord, thank You for all that You have forgiven in my life. Might I live filled with your Holy Spirit and in the fresh awareness that I am loved by You. Help me in turn to love and forgive others, so when they see me, they too will take note that I have been with You. Give us strength, dear Lord to live this day by trusting you in all that we do. May our trust in you keep us on track and may the joy of the Lord radiate through our lives to all we meet today. Help us to trust you for integrity, strength and assurance in whatever circumstances we encounter in our life this day, and help us to show ourselves trustworthy to others by our words and actions. If I am to be an example of what it means to follow Christ, then help me to be the best example I can be. Guide me by Your Spirit. I pray this in the powerful name of Jesus, Amen
