Verse of the Day
Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”- John 14:23 (NLT)
Prayer
Our Father in Heaven, thank You for Your goodness in my life. Thank You for making possible an eternity of peace and joy, free from sin and sorrow. Prepare my heart for my heavenly home. Thank you for preparing the path for my life and making my crooked places straight. Thank You for restoring my soul and life and guiding me in everything I do.
Abba Father, I submit every area of my life to You. I hunger for every single thing You have in store for me. I choose to trust You out in the deep waters knowing that You have good things in store for me. Forgive us, Lord, for all the ways we have been poor stewards of the world You’ve entrusted to us. Give us wisdom to know how best to use the authority You have given us. Show us how to use and care for the earth in ways that honor your intentions. Make me a conqueror, Lord. Please allow me to join Your team, to count You as my ally. Be with me all of my days. This day, may I care well for the piece of the world you have entrusted to me, using it rightly for Your purposes and glory.
My Father, give me a sense of nearness to thee when I may be faltering from weariness in well doing. May I hold to my determinations. My heart is filled with thoughts of peace, while the world is filled with rumors of war. Guide me through such hard times, Lord. Teach me when to fight and when to resist. As long a I live, Lord, I want to point people in Your direction. Help me to witness to others and share the stories of all You have done in my life. In the marvelous name of our savior and Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen

Prayer Quote of the day
No man is greater than his prayer life. The pastor who is not praying is playing; the people who are not praying are straying. The pulpit can be a shop window to display one’s talents; the prayer closet allows no showing off.
