Verse of the Day
Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.– Psalm 62:3-4 (NLT
Prayer
Dear Abba Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. Thank You for refreshing and renewing my heart. Fill me with Your peace; fill me with Your strength. Help me to do good and stand firm until I see my harvest of blessing. Almighty God, I bless thee for the privilege of a great life. May I not be satisfied to rest with idle hands in youth and make age regretful because I have lived a useless life: but with a clear eye and an exalted mind may I choose the “durable satisfactions” that may be mine.
Forgive me, Lord Father, when I fail to enjoy the goodness of your creation. Forgive me for my lack of gratitude for your gifts O Father. Teach me to savor life and to thank you for all of it, beginning this very day. Open my eyes to the needs of others. Help me to not think I know people’s minds before I ask. Be patient with me as I learn to share my faith with others.
May I not only grow spiritually every day but help me to reach out to the world around me so that every person I make contact with sees You through my walk and talk. I commit all my plans to You and ask for Your guiding hand upon my life to show me Your will so I may be a faithful servant. Teach us, O Lord, not only to bear, but to love Your Cross. As we take and carry it, may we find that it is carrying us. Our loving Lord, help us to cast all our care upon You and trust You wholly from this time. Amen.

Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. (Psalm 90:2)
Prayer Quote of the day
Every time we pray our horizon is altered, our attitude to things is altered, not sometimes but every time, and the amazing thing is that we don’t pray more.
