Verse of the Day
Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.- Jeremiah 33:3 (NLT)
Prayer
Abba, Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word which lights my path and directs my way. I choose to put You first place. I choose to meditate on Your Word, knowing that You are leading me in Your paths of life. Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness and strength at work in my life today. I choose to consider Your ability over my circumstances. Heavenly Father, thank you for all the ways you prepare us to understand the gospel and to welcome Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Thank you for the perfect sacrifice of Christ, which expresses your grace to us and frees us from the curse of sin. Thank you for choosing not to destroy us, but rather to deliver us and renew us. Thank you, Lord, for your amazing grace.
Thank You dear Lord for what You have given me here on earth. I am so wealthy because I know there is a rich treasury stored up in heaven for all who believe in You and have the assurance of spending an eternity with You. Help me to give back to You a portion of all that You have given and will give to me. Give my family a special touch from You this day and may Christ be glorified by our actions and our words.
Lord, you and I both know where I tend to dismiss or disobey your prohibitions. Forgive me for these trespasses. Help me even this day to heed your warnings, to not do certain things so that I might do that which leads to flourishing, both in my life and in the world around me. I choose to trust You. I give You praise, honor and glory, now and always. Jesus, I present my prayer in Your precious name before my God, Father in heaven. Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
I will show mercy to those who are merciful to others. God will show mercy to the merciful.
And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: “Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.” (Matthew 5:7)
Prayer Quote of the day
God’s hearing of our prayers doth not depend upon sanctification, but upon Christ’s intercession; not upon what we are in ourselves, but what’ we are in the Lord Jesus; both our persons and our prayers are acceptable in the beloved [Eph 1.6].
