Verse of the Day
So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. – Matthew 6:34 (NLT)
Prayer
Our Loving Father, thank you, dear Lord, for hearing our prayers just as they are, for wanting to have an intimate relationship with us in all of our messiness and confusion. Father, thank You for loving me. Thank You for doing Your work in my life. Help me to be more like You. Help me to see others the way You see them and respond in love because You are love. I bless You and honor You today. Fill me with Your patience, Lord. When I see others receive rewards, help me to rejoice in their benefit rather than be bitter that I did not receive it. My Creator, give me joyful eyes which bring new experiences in my life. Lord allow me to serve You by unfolding to others the love of truth, the love of good, and the love of beauty.
Gracious Father, thank You for making me alive in Christ! I proclaim that Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and because He died for me, I can live the abundant life here on earth. Help me stay focused on You this day and live with the enthusiasm that comes from knowing You
Thank you, gracious God, for entering into our sorrow through Christ, for knowing the inside of sadness Thank you, O God, for meeting us in our pain, for offering peace that passes understanding, for turning our mourning into dancing.
If I have hurt anyone this day, Lord, help me to make amends and to do better in the future. Let me repay no one evil for good, or evil for evil, either. Let my response always be one of love. We pray in the name of Jesus, the man of sorrows. Amen.
Bible Promise of the Day
God has compassion on you. God promises that His unfailing love for you will not be shaken
Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you. (Isaiah 54:10)
Prayer Quote of the day
Are you weak? Weary? Confused? Troubled? Pressured? How is your relationship with God? Is it held in its place of priority? I believe the greater the pressure, the greater your need for time alone with Him.
