Verse of the Day

Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.– 1 Timothy 4:8 (NLT)

Prayer

Gracious heavenly Father, I thank You today for Your Word which fills my heart and mind with faith. I believe that You are good and that You are a rewarder. I choose to put my trust in You knowing that You have blessings in store for my future . Lord, today I stand believing that You are working quietly on my behalf. Give me Your strength to continue believing until I see Your promises fulfilled in my life.

Give me a new excitement so that I can begin today to share the good news of the gospel to the world that I live in. Give me the boldness and the confidence that only You can do. Help me to be that shining light that You are looking for in my world. Help me to  challenge my family and friends to join me in this new but wonderful ministry that You want to give us. Bless our efforts to share the gospel by giving us a fruitful ministry.

Abba Father, thank You for giving me a diligent spirit. Thank You for Your faithfulness. Give me strength to stand and seek You until I see Your promises fulfilled in every area of my life. Father, I thank You for the standard of godly commitment that has been given to us through Your Word. May my life and the lives of my family be lives of purpose, prayer, power and faith. Keep us from being tempted by things that would defile us and keep us from being steadfast in our faith.  Prepare my heart and the hearts of each member of my family so that we can face every battle with the confidence that You are with us and with Your help we can see victory. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen

Bible Promise of the Day

I will comfort you just like a mother would. God Promises that He will comfort us like a mother.

As one whom his mother comforts, So I will comfort you; And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. (Isaiah 66:13)

Prayer Quote of the day

We must continue in prayer if we are to get an outpouring of the Spirit. Christ says there are some things we shall not get, unless we pray and fast, yes, “prayer and fasting.” We must control the flesh and abstain from whatever hinders direct fellowship with God.
