Verse of the Day
Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you.– Psalm 86:11 (NLT)
Prayer
Our Father, EL, ELOAH [el, el-oh-ah] , the mighty, strong, prominent God, if I may be beginning this day with an unclean purpose in my heart, help me to clear it away; if I may be trying to avoid some urgent duty, make me ashamed to resist it. Keep away the desires that harm my life, and that withhold the enjoyment of my common work.
How grateful I am that God sent His Son to die on the cross to pay my penalty for my sin. And also for the good news of the resurrection of Jesus that gives me the assurance of spending an eternity in heaven. Thank You dear Lord for Your uniqueness and for the salvation that You have given me.
I know that You care, and I know that You will do right by all who love You. Give me patience to accept what seems unfair now. Make me deserving Your grace.
Lord God, give me wisdom to help relieve the ignorant and suffering. May I strive in every way to free thy people, that they may be uplifted in the progress of life. Amen.
Bible Promise of the Day
None of God’s promises in the Bible ever fail.
“…not one word has failed of all the good things that the LORD your God promised concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one of them has failed.” Joshua 23:14, ESV.
Prayer Quote of the day
Whether we think of, or speak to, God, whether we act or suffer for him, all is prayer, when we have no other object than his love, and the desire of pleasing him.
