Prayer
Abba Father, YAHWEH EL ELYON, Most High God, my soul fills with gratitude for the blessings which I have received and enjoyed. Help me to conform to your will concerning my duties. May I not try to resist your providence. I pray that you will bless my daily life, and make my home a place to dispense kindness and cheerfulness. There are times, dear Lord, when I feel I don’t amount to much. My self-image is bruised, and my determination is crushed. Be with me in those times, and lift me up.
Father God, thank You for Your Word which lights my path and directs my way. I choose to put You first place. I choose to meditate on Your Word, knowing that You are leading me in Your paths of life. Let me be not so concerned with the prestige of my job, or the salary it pays, or what other people think of it. Instead, assist me to always do the best that I can, to Your glory, Father.
My Abba Father, help me to understand that kind hearts and willing hands are made possible by the depth and greatness of Your love. May I possess the spirit of forgiveness and consideration, that I may not hold prejudice and revenge, but help with sympathy and tenderness. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
