Prayer
Dearest loving Father, today I come to You with an open and humble heart. I choose to submit myself to You and surrender my ways to Your ways. I don’t want anything to hold me back from what You have in store for my future. I choose forgiveness. I choose peace. Help me, by Your Spirit, to press forward into the life of blessing You have for me. Let me make the choice to change and thank You for empowering me and refreshing me today.
Abba Father, encourage my heart today to build my house on the precepts and commandments that You have given us in Your Word. Help me to be a doer of Your Word and not a hearer only. Help me to lead my family in the way of righteousness and that together we will build our house, our lives on You the rock. Help me to read Your Word daily so I can know Your commandments. Help me to obey and comply with Your laws so that You can bless me. Give me wisdom and direction in leading my children to want to trust You and obey You.
Dear Lord, I thank you for the fact that I don’t have to live blamelessly in order to worship you. How grateful I am for the forgiveness you offer through Christ. How good it is to know that I can approach you, not in my own righteousness, but in the righteousness of the One who died for me. Help us, Lord, to give all that we are to you today, no matter what our age our situation. May we experience the adventure of following you fully, being used in unexpected ways in your work. O Lord, may I learn to worship you each moment of each day. Teach me to see my whole life as one great worship service, in which I honor you through every word, every thought, every deed By your grace, may I learn to present my body to you as a living sacrifice, so that you might be glorified in every part of my life. I pray in the name of Jesus my Savior, Amen.
