Verse of the Day

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For each one shall bear his own load. (Galatians 6:2-5)

Prayer

Dearest Abba Father, thank You for loving me today. Thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for being closer to me than the air I breathe. I receive Your promises today in faith and confidence. I cast all of my cares on You and set my heart on You today. Lord,  thank You for giving me Your Word which contains Your promises. I commit myself to You to study and learn so that I may know You and Your goodness. I invite You to work in and through me. Lord, show forth Your might through Your creation, O Lord. Remind me of Your greatness and power throughout the day. You are wonderful, Lord, and I thank You that I worship You.

Abba Father, there have been many times when I have cried out to you from the depths of despair, times when I have begged you to hear my prayer and pay attention to me. Thank you for being there, for listening, for making yourself known to me. Thank You for the comfort you give to those of us who believe in You. Give me and my family a desire to follow the teachings You gave us on the Sermon on the Mount.

All praise be to you, O God, because you are my stronghold. You protect me from so many things: from harm, from success I cannot handle, from the empty life that can be so tempting. Thank you for being strong when I am weak and for always being there for me. Help me, dear Lord, to trust you more each day, so that I might live without fear. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen

Bible Promise of the Day

God will take care of your day-to-day needs.

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:31-34, NKJV

Prayer Quote of the day

Know your HOLY GOD intimately. (When you have seen His glory, His holiness and His love – by drawing close to Him in prayer – then you can usually see through any counterfeits because you know the “real thing” so well).
