Prayer
Dearest Abba Father, today I choose to lift my eyes off my circumstances and look to You. Show me Your ways that I may walk with You on the path to victory all the days of my life. Lord, I choose to believe Your Word above all else. I know that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf, and You will cause me to triumph. Help me to tune out the negative voices of the world so that I can focus on Your goodness all the days of my life.
Father, help me and my family to be obedient to Your commandments so that others will see that we are morally and spiritually unique. Keep us committed to living by godly standards so that our lives are a testimony that we have been changed by Your saving grace that we have received through the shed blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I don’t have any idea what the outcome of my story will be, Lord, but I thank You for giving my life an interesting and unique plot. Go with me through the chapters of my life, Lord. Help me to let go of my disappointments and to always trust in You. Thank You for the assurance that You hold my future in Your hands and that Your plans for me are for good and not for evil.
Lord, may I see my life as a reflection of your blessing. Thank You for the many blessings You have in store for me. Thank you for blessing me, again and again, through your superabundant grace. O Lord, in my life in this world, may I imitate your graciousness. May I be faithful, putting my trust in you even, and especially, when it’s difficult to do so. Great is your faithfulness, Lord! Through the grace of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
