Dearest loving Father, thank You for another day to live and bless Your name. I choose to pray without ceasing, to honor You, acknowledge You and follow Your leading. Keep me close to You today as I keep my heart and mind on You. Lord, I bless You today. I thank You for preparing me for the blessing and promotion You have in my future. I surrender my heart, mind, will and emotions to You so that I can live as a testimony of Your work in my life. Shine Your light on, in, and through me, Lord, that I might fight against darkness wherever I go.
Lord, You are an awesome God and I praise You for all that You have done for me. Thank You for Your love, Your direction and Your protection in my life. May my family never forget how awesome You are and may we always express our praise and thanksgiving to You. Lord, You know my sins. I confess them to You. You know my struggles, my fears, the masks that I have put on. Help me believe you so I can put down this heavy burden of shame and condemnation and live in the freedom of your mercy. Help me learn to be more intimate with you and to have confidence even today, in who you are and how much you love me. Lord, You know my situation. You know my needs. Help me to know what Your will is in these matters so I can pray accordingly and thank you in advance for your answer.
Lord Jesus, thank you for taking the role of a servant as you washed the feet of your disciples. Thank you for humbling yourself to serve them. Thank you for giving us a picture of how we are to serve others. Today, I ask for wisdom to know how I can imitate your servanthood. Guide me by your Spirit, I pray. Give me the courage to break through cultural barriers that would keep me from serving others in imitation of you. Father, I confess that there are so many times I feel so distant from You. I admit to my own wandering. Forgive me for the sin that has separated us and help me to stay in close fellowship with you. Lead me by Your Holy Spirit, I pray. May all I do be for your glory and honor. In Jesus’ name, I Pray, Amen
