Prayer
My Gracious heavenly Father, today I choose to magnify and exalt You. You are faithful and good. Help me to keep my heart and mind focused on You all the days of my life. Lord, thank You for cleansing me and making me new. Thank You for making me the righteousness of God in Christ. Help me to fully understand this so I can walk in the fullness of the blessing You have prepared for me. Thank You for the gift of today. I choose to focus on the blessing of each moment instead of allowing the little things to steal my joy. Keep me close to You always and show me the treasure of each and every day. Lord, today I set my focus on You. I choose to forget the past by forgiving others so that I can fix my gaze on Your promises. Keep me close to You always and lead me in Your path of life.
Dear Lord Jesus, I give my heart to You and desire to know you better. I desire to hear from You. I long to discern Your direction in my life. Lord, I need your power in my life. I come today and ask that you would again do your mighty deeds. Renew them again and make yourself known to my world. Work in my life today that others might see and stand in awe of you. Lord, how I marvel at your mighty deeds. How I stand in awe of all that you have done. Lord, I thank You that You have forgiven me for my sins. However, there are attitudes inside my heart that constantly condemn me. They are full of shame, guilt, and legalism, tying me up and keeping me from experiencing the freedom You have given me. Today, help me renounce these inner condemnations and celebrate your forgiveness. Help me live in the reality of Your love.
Lord, I am slipping. Help me today. May Your love support me. May Your comfort renew my hope. Thank You for challenging me to honor You in all that I do so I may prosper. Help me to understand that prospering means that I will receive Your blessings on my life. As I prosper may my family and my friends see Christ in me and may they give up their worldly traits and honor You in all that they do. Help me to pray daily for my family, my friends, and my fellow believers. I always forget how gracious and giving You have been, O Lord. Forgive my lack of gratitude and appreciation. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, the High Priest, who is interceding for me before you, I pray. Amen
