I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4 (NIV)
Father, I come to You with an open and humble heart. Thank You for surprising me with Your love and blessings today. Keep me close to You and help me to always follow Your Word. Lord, today I come to You with an attitude of faith and expectancy. You said that if I ask anything according to Your will, it will be done. So I thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life and believe for big things in my life today. I choose to obey Your Word. I choose to be a tither and a giver. I choose to obey Your word and step out in faith knowing that every seed I sow will come back in abundance.
Father, I am slipping. Please come to my aid. Catch me, hold me and help me to find better footing. I need Your consolation and Your never failing love. I need Your help O Lord. Guide me, comfort me and rescue me. Lord, I thank You for opening the eyes of my heart so that I can, first of all, see You and then see every good thing You have in store for me. Thank You that You can take my life and use it for Your service. I look to You with an attitude of faith and expectancy and believe that You are at work in me. Take what I have and multiply it for Your good. I give You my life, here I am Lord, use me. Thank You, dear Lord, for giving to me this day self-control, eliminating any anger in all of my words and deeds. Help me to rely on the leading of the Holy Spirit in my life today and may others see in me the fruits of the Spirit controlling my life. Help me to honor God, my family, my neighbors and my friends today in all that I do and say.
Almighty and majestic God, you are unchanging and ever faithful. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. But in Jesus you also took on human flesh, condescended to be with us, felt the pains of being a human, and bore our sins in your body. As we seek to be part of your redemptive purposes in the world, help us discern between what we should never change and what can be adapted. Help us know the difference between the truth of something and the form it takes, the conviction that we must hold and the changes we must make. Help us be wise, courageous, creative, and true. Help us to become more like Jesus every day. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen
For You created all things, And by Your will they exist. God promises by His will we exist
“You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” – (Revelation 4:11)
The Christian on his knees sees more than the philosopher on tiptoe. God sends no one away empty except those who are full of themselves.
