Prayer
Dearest loving Abba Yahweh, Today I choose to cast my cares on You and praise You because You are worthy. Today I choose to put my trust and hope in You knowing that You have equipped me for the destiny You have for me. Today I choose love. Let joy flow through me as I honor You in all I say and do. I choose to honor the people around me. Help me to see value in others. Help my actions and words to esteem and delight in them so that I can be an example of Your love and light. Thank You for an endless supply of joy. I thank You for giving me the gifts, talents and abilities to enjoy life and accomplish Your will. Lord, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life.
Abba Father, God of all comfort, I give myself to You. I want to know You in all of Your fullness. Help me worship You in new and fresh ways. Enlarge my capacity to know You, that I might love You more and more. I pray with the Psalmist, “Lord, I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but You Dear God remain the strength of my heart; You are mine forever.” Father, I desire to be Your child. I believe that Christ died for me and rose again so all my sins can be forgiven. I accept Christ as my Lord and Savior and desire to be Your child. Thank You for the many times You have comforted me. Forgive me for not being as compassionate and patient as I should toward others. Forgive me for forgetting how much You have done for me. Help me today to extend that same comfort to others that You have given to me. Help me love those that You bring into my path today in the same way that You love me.
Thank You for giving me the Bible to be my guide for living my life. Thank You for the assurance You have given that Your Word is infallible, inerrant and inspired and therefore trustworthy. Give me understanding as I study Your Word so that my faith will grow and my knowledge will increase as I learn and apply Your Word to my life. May my spiritual life be a testimony to my family and others. How I thank you for the freedom you give me to be honest with you, to hold nothing back. How gracious you are, King of kings, to let me speak my mind and share my heart with you. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, the High Priest, who is interceding for me before you, I pray. Amen
