Prayer
Dearest loving Abba Father, thank You for giving me everything I need to fulfill the dreams You’ve placed in my heart. Thank You for entrusting me with Your creative power. Thank You for protecting me and fighting my battles. Thank You for refreshing me with Your Word which is truth that sets me free. I choose to seek You first. I choose to declare words of life and victory. I choose to trust Your Word and follow Your leading so I can be planted and strong in You. I choose to stand strong in faith knowing that You are fighting in the background on my behalf. Help me, by Your Holy Spirit, to use my words to move forward in victory the way You have planned. I choose to stay focused and press forward into the good things You have me.
God of peace, we call on you today. We confess that, there are areas of pain and offense that we often carry because of affliction. Lord have mercy on us and restore us. We acknowledge your sovereignty, even in times of oppression. With that in mind, we pray that you help us to submit to your processes in our lives, that we may be stronger warriors in your Kingdom. Loving Father, thank You Your love, grace, peace and joy in my life. Lord, I admit I have been preoccupied with so many things that worshipping You has taken a back seat in my life. I am so sorry. I do love You. I really do want to get my priorities right. Help me know and love You more and more until worshipping You becomes the “one thing” in my life.
Lord Jesus, help me to abide in You. Help me to earnestly fellowship with You, to spend time in Your word and soak in Your fellowship. Help me to hear Your voice and to bear Your fruit. As well, dear Jesus, please come and abide in me. Today I ask you to forgive me for my sins and for the times I have failed you. Help me to learn afresh to forgive those that sin against me just as you forgave me. Do not let me turn blind eyes to the beauty of Your world, Lord. Throughout Your creation is Your signature. I cannot doubt Your existence in a world of such amazing splendor. Open my heart today to being committed to the goal of serving You. Help me to seek opportunities to serve You and to honor Your name. Give me then the strength and faith to expect great things to happen. Help me to rely totally on Your direction, Your power and Your love. We pray all these things in Christ’s name, Amen
