Prayer
Dearest loving Father in heaven, today I surrender every area of my life to You. Have Your way in me; let Your will be done in my life. Thank You for making me new. Father, what an awesome privilege it is to come before Your throne of grace and worship You. Thank You for sending Your son, Jesus, so that I can live forever and join the heavenly hosts. Thank You for preparing me to do the good works You have prepared. I am not average. I am not ordinary. I am created for greatness, and I belong to Almighty God. Thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for Your grace and favor in my life. Thank You for staying close to me. Help me to know Your ways and understand Your love so that I can accomplish all You have for me.
Loving Father, make me conscious of Your presence. Help me to experience today, the deep joy of knowing You. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and fill my heart with Your love. Help me begin to behold Your beauty. Help me know You, hear You, fellowship with You. Help me trust You, commit myself to You, and love You. Lord, I know this is a process but it is one I deeply desire. Start today, Father, and guide me into a deeper relationship with You. Give us a heart, dear Lord that will be committed to serve You every moment of this day. Help us to be willing to serve our God, our family, our neighbors and our friends. Draw us close today to people that need You and then may our words and actions glorify Your name.
The days are certainly dark, Lord. The clouds are closing in, and there are times when no light can be seen at all. Help me to remember that You are here, O God, and that the light which never fails will one day shine forth.. Father, how I thank You for the death of Your Son, Jesus, so I can come boldly into Your presence and find all the love, peace and joy I will ever need. Let me sense Your presence in my life today. Loving God, fill me today with Your love. Help me grow and overflow with Your love for all people. Help me to learn to serve you and others with the radical humility you taught and demonstrated. Teach me Your ways so that I may live according to Your truth. Grant me a pure heart so that I may honor You every moment in my life. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ so that He be glorified through us, Amen
